Frequently Asked Questions
Is any of this really free?
Yes. Classes, message reviews, the toll-free line, and recovery guidance are all provided at no cost. We never sell products or ask for account numbers.
Do you speak Spanish?
Sí. Our toll-free line and several weekly classes are offered in Spanish, and bilingual handouts are available on request.
I think I'm being scammed right now. What do I do?
Stop. Do not send money, gift cards, crypto, or share any verification code. Hang up and call us at 888-851-9908 — a real person will stay on the line with you.
I already sent money. Is it too late?
Not always. Call your bank or card issuer immediately and ask to recall or dispute the transfer, then call us. We’ll help you file reports with the FTC, IC3, and your state’s authorities, and take steps to protect your identity.
How do I know a call from your organization is genuine?
We never call to request payment, account numbers, passwords, or verification codes. If anything feels off, hang up and call our published toll-free number, 888-851-9908, directly.
Can you speak at our senior center or church?
Gladly. We travel to community hosts and can also present by video. Send us a note through the contact page with your location and a couple of possible dates.
What if I'm not comfortable with computers?
Most of our attendees aren’t. Classes assume no technical background, and a volunteer will call you beforehand to get you connected — or you can join by regular telephone.
Do you keep my information private?
We collect only what’s needed to help you, we don’t sell or share your details, and we never ask for banking credentials. Reports shared with authorities are made with your permission.
Still unsure about something?
